Terms of Service

By creating an account or otherwise using SousMe, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy.

You must be at least 13 years old to use SousMe. By using the service, you represent that you meet this requirement and that any information you provide is accurate.

You may sign in using Google OAuth or another method we provide. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access.

You retain ownership of the recipes, meal plans, and other content you add to SousMe. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to use that content solely to operate and improve SousMe for you.

You agree not to use SousMe to violate any law, infringe on intellectual property rights, transmit harmful code, interfere with the service, or harass others. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules.

SousMe may connect to third-party grocery services (such as Kroger) to place orders on your behalf. We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, accuracy, or fulfillment of orders placed through those services. Your use of those services is also subject to their own terms and policies.

SousMe is currently free to use. If we introduce paid features in the future, we will update these terms and notify you before any charges apply.

You may stop using SousMe at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these terms or if we need to discontinue the service. Upon termination, your data will be handled as described in our Privacy Policy.

SousMe is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that meal plans, recipes, grocery lists, or reminders will always be accurate, complete, or suitable for your dietary or health needs. Always verify ingredients and cooking instructions before use.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Foolish Software, LLC shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of SousMe. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the preceding 12 months, or $100 if you did not pay anything.

These terms are governed by the laws of Arizona, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Arizona.

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated terms and update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of SousMe after changes means you accept the updated terms.
