• Account information: email address and profile data you provide when signing in (via Google OAuth or email).
• Meal-planning data: recipes, meal plans, grocery lists, pantry/inventory items, preferences, and chat messages with Sous.
• Usage data: app interactions and error reports used to improve the service.
• Integration data: if you connect a Kroger account, we store tokens and order information needed to place grocery orders on your behalf.

• Generate and manage your meal plans, grocery lists, and reminders.
• Sync your preferences across conversations and ordering.
• Process grocery orders through connected third-party services.
• Fix bugs and improve the app.
• Communicate with you about your account or the service.

We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with service providers that help us run SousMe, such as our hosting and AI infrastructure partners, and with grocery-retailer integrations you explicitly connect (for example, Kroger). These providers are contractually bound to use your data only to provide the services we request.

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your data is removed immediately. Some information may remain in backups for a short period, but it is not used or restored.

You can access, update, or delete most of your data directly in the app. To request deletion of your account or ask about the data we hold, email us at support@foolishsoftware.com.

SousMe uses minimal cookies and local storage necessary for authentication and app functionality. We do not use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

SousMe is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encryption in transit and access controls. No online service is completely secure, so please keep your account credentials safe.

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by updating the date at the top of this page and, where appropriate, through the app.
